Is Molas Circolo Golf, South Coast, Sardinia

The first facility built at the Is Molas resort was the fantastic 18-hole/m.6383/par 72/SSS 72 golf course and Club House, officially opened in 1975. There is now a new 9-hole/m.3196/par 36 course as well.

The Golf Club's prestigious reputation is due to the fact that, being the first sports facility of its kind in Sardinia, it has hosted a large number of tournaments and this has led to its inclusion in the international circuit. Indeed, the Italian Open and P.G.A. Challenge Tour have been held here many times.

Thanks to its very long starting tees, the course is admirably suited to please the medium-level player while also calling for the maximum skill and effort from even the most expert of professionals.

In fact, experts consider Is Molas one of the few authentic championship courses in Italy. The serene setting and mild climate makes it a fascinating course, well able to provide an afternoon's entertainment for those in search of relaxation as well as a stimulating challenge for those who want to take on its difficulties.

The Club House, 300m from the hotel, has bar and restaurant as well as locker rooms. Hand trolleys, golf cars and golf bags can all be rented. There is also a pro shop and a golf school with video registration. In summer time there is also a swimming pool.
